What a World!

A world that was created with love
Has developed a rancor that’s hard to dissolve
At first made with beautiful creatures
And now become a world full of ruptures
A world where serenity has gone short
A world with so much gun shot
A world where a moron can be a baron
While in ideas, leaders seem to be barren
What a world!

A world where people call themselves fat or ugly
A world filled with so much lust for money
Here are people who hate their lives
And men who beat their wives
They tell you they love you and take it back
They preach charity but yet they slack
What a world filled with so much abuse
And people so much confused.
What a world!

A world where the quest for peace has become stagnant
A world where many teenagers get pregnant
A world where people care more about money than family
A world where going to church is a tragedy
A world where kids are kidnapped and killed
A world where fear cannot be stilled
A world where people find it interesting to do drugs
A world where the anger of men flows like flood
What a world!

Why do people cuss?
Why are some cursed?
Why do clerics lie?
Why do the people die?
Why do people commit suicide?
Why do leaders misguide?
Why is there so much discord?
Why can’t nations live in accord?
What's wrong with our world?

This was a world created without blemish
And now the world is filled with racists
Why are people raped?
Why are people caged?
Why do people hurt each other?
Why do people kill each other?
Why do women bring pains to their men?
Why are rulers going insane?
What is really wrong with our world?

A world where bad leaders are thriving
A world where wealthy communities are starving
A world where governments are oppressive
And leaders’ decisions are depressive
The whites are always selected
And the blacks are the rejected
The poor open their lips in vain
And the meek live in pain
Oh what a world!
