What a World! Part II

What a serene world that we can easily create;
Where peace is rooted in the lives of nations;
What a world where soreness can be assuaged;
Where our deals will avert disaster and alleviate depressions.
With active effort in friendliness and helpfulness,
We can break the reign of hatred and resentment;
Without despondency in our hopefulness,
We can attain the world to contentment.

The time for the healing of the wounds has come;
Let us create a force of human freedom.
The moment to bridge the chasms that divide us has come;
We must embrace peace which is the climate of freedom;
‘Tis the only climate possible for human life.
In sharing burdens, we will wisely perform the work of peace,
Create the environment that will make us stay alive;
That darkness and suffering will ever cease.

Let us look upon this shaken earth,
And expose the pretensions of tyrants.
Let us make bright our dark earth,
And reward the hopes of the decent and tolerant.
To renew the world, we must be bold;
In boldness, we must revitalize our democracy.
Our honor and glory, we must ever uphold;
And reject every breathe of plutocracy.

We can help to heal this divided world!
By countering the threat of those who seek to rule by force,
We can pacify the fretting leprosy in our politics;
By rejuvenating the blighting curse in our social life,
A wrong done to the weak should be an insult to the strong;
By destroying the evils which threaten to undermine the strength of the world;
In democracy's solidarity and universality, building strong policies;
Wherein we face the rising sun of our new day.

Aye, red-handed men are whipped for justice;
Men do not torture, burn, and lynch their fellow-men;
Women make homes and do things that have permanence;
Politicians perform more than they can promise;
The rights of individuals are neither denied nor limited by cause;
Everybody is patronized without distinction of class;
Wickedness is dispelled and humanity breathes freer;
Good homes, lovely fathers, virtuous mothers, the world grows brighter.
What a world occupied by beautiful creatures!
What a world where sobriety is worn as a crown!
What a world with no existence of rancor!
What a world where the people do not frown!
O what a world conquered by serenity!
Free from the continuing bondage of deprivation;
Proclaiming the great blessings of humanity
With neither suffering, gender nor any discrimination.
